September Wine Friday: Grenache

2009 sept wine 3 - low

I swear that it was only by accident (or good minds think alike) that I selected the Grenache wine theme just 1 day before the San Jose Mercury News printed an article featuring Grenache as a great wine for the Summer to Fall transition.  Honestly, this is exactly what I was thinking!  I love Grenache, such a versatile wine, especially if it is dark and extracted because it hits me just right!  I especially liked the 2006 Las Rocas.
