New construction is always nice and this is certainly a great home, but I’m still left feeling it is not “brilliant” or remarkable. Maybe I’m just not a fan of the barrel roof or somehow there were budget tradeoffs made with the materials. I do love the wrap-around butcher-block island and textured-tin backsplash tiles and of course I’m a sucker for the exposed steel I-beams out front.
